table locks in mysql and asp-help me out

Hi,
There is a asp web interface connecting to mysql database. I got a project from customer saying that only one user can acces the table. If more than one user tries to access the table from the asp web interface a dead lock situation occurs. I think the version is mysql2.3. I am new to asp and mysql. Can someone help me out.

not being funny but why are you using asp & mysql together?

php and mysql are a match made in heaven as compared to asp and mysql. it's a p.i.t.a switch to php it's easier my opinion
