Has anyone read "Remoting with C# and .NET by David Conger? I am developing an asynchronous application using delegates and was wondering what you thought about the techniques used. There is another book by Ingo Rammer "Advanced .NET remoting" which is an excellent book as well. Was also wondering if anyone has developed any full scale applications using Conger's techniques.
Any comments would be appreciated. with regards James |

Hi James,
I am new to .net and ms sql. I need to develop an applicaiton which will have MS SQL central database. And users connect to this database thru network. For each application need to make a parital copy of database ( tables needed or permitted to user) on to his local machine. Purpose of making local copy is that user can access local copy when he is offline and even may make changes. And these changes needed to be updated to central database when connected later resolving confilcts if any exists with other local copies. Does the book "Remoting with C# and .NET by David Conger" helpful for this kind of applicaiton. Could you please let me know any books good for this kind application. Thanks in advance, mohan. |
