Non visual flash object

Is it possible to run a non visual flash object from within a .NET server side script that can update and read LSO's? Everyone say it is doable, but nobody gives me the details of how. PHP would be fine too. I want to allow any website to execute a server side script on my servers that will update a local LSO. Pages from my website can then read the contents of this LSO. The hard bit is that no one can quite articulate is how would the flash object be accessed fron the server side script on a GET.

Any advice, much appreciated.

Best

Steve
