Standard Deviation

Hi wonder if anyone can help me as I am trying to learn Visual Basic.net

I have stumbled across a problem that I cannot get over. Learning from books is no good but
cannot afford the classes.

Ahh my problem. Working out standard deviation. I understand the sums part (A level maths)
but how the hell do I put it into code.

Example of what I want to do is... if possible

Put the X amount of numbers in and work out the standard deviation of them.

I have been trying with listboxes but cannot find away to code it properly.

Please can anyone help. Im going round and round with this problem . If anyone knows another way or better
way plz tell.
