Vb help on a new program

hey,
i am trying to build a new program i feel that VB is my best choice for what i need. i would like to take a PS file or postscript turn it into a pdf (maybe have my program call adobe distiller than take that pdf take out a page (same page each time) and insert a page (or move the deleted page over to the proper place and than save the pdf to a certain location directory to have opus (a server) turn it back into a postscript and possibly send it to a mass scale printer using it's ip address......... how possible is this and how hard will it be im hung up on pulling in other programs like a distiller and taking the output and chnaging it also with how to save it to the correct directory, sending the file to a printer or ip address i can eithr omit or hopefully figure it out

To launch other applications from VB you can use Shell() function
For using other programs within VB you have a function called SendKeys(), this is where you can instruct the other app where to save files (in Save as.. box, you cab send the path and the name of the desired file)
To print files you can use ShellExecute()

hope it helps
