VB.Net Deployment Problem

hi all
i am creating a deployment in vb.net which requires to take user input in the form of string.i have added a new screen in my user interface with texbox to take the input.but i have no idea abt how to get the value of this input and how to attach it to my code.
actually the text which the user will give in this textbox will be the entire path of his site(share point home site) where i have to dynamically create links.
can anyone just help me please.
i need the answer as early as possible
