Question visualC++.06 vs visualC++.NET for photoshop plugins programming

Hello
I need to convert some photoshop 7 plugins to Photoshop CS.
The first have been done with visual C++.06 but the second are only support by visual.NET.
I need to do some change in the C code, I did some but it seem not enough.
If someone knows a good protocol to acheive this code conversion or at least some tricks it would help me a lot.
