Webservice fails due to no internet connection
My smart device application calls a webservice. If there is no internet connection, my webservice will not be able to call and return a result. How can I skip this so that my application will not hang there? any help will be very much appreciated.Thank you!

Did you write the app on the device?
What language is it in? What kind of device is it? What is the OS running on the device? You need to give us a lot more info before can help you. EDIT: Moved to the .NET forum

I'm writing the smart device application to call my webservice using VB.net. My webservice is also written using vb.net. The application will be running on Toshiba e740 windows CE and the webservice will be running on a windows XP PC
