dynamic subdomains in PHP

Hello everyone! I've just registered!

I am developing a site for my client, and one of his demands was when user registers, it gets it's own subdomain like user.domain.com, like on URL

I have found one article about this problem and the link is URL but I'm couries if someone has maybe more elegant solution.

Thx!

Seems like a pretty good way to do it. Otherwise, you could write an apache handler to take care of subdomains, but you're going to have to screw with httpd.conf and your DNS setup in any case.
