Help getting GD Thumbnail Generator to work
i have been trying to use your thumbnail generator found at http://www.onlinetools.org/articles/creating_thumbnails_all.php I followed all the instructions, i even compared it to the actual file they supplied to use, and still getting errors. go to http://www.biafore.com/img/thumbnail_generator.php
and http://www.biafore.com/img/thumbnail_generator.txt there is the actual code. all i need is to do is have a script that once its run, it create thumbnail for all images in that directory. What am i doing wrong? is there a certain way to call this script? what is it that can be wrong? i even tried to go to the original author's wbesite and use the file he supplied there, and still same problem. Of course i am a PHP newbie and probably calling the file wrong. thank you Jose

What errors do you get? Have you got GD on the server you are using? And since you are so concerned with how you are calling the script, can you tell us how you are doing so.

Fixed
well in the time it took to reply in this threadigot a reply from the original author of the script.
what it wasis that all the JPG files I was Using where not saved correctly. ALL JPG file when using this script must be saved without using the SAVE FOR WEB feature within photoshop, because that removes the necessary info that GD needs to create the thumbnails, i resaved all the JPG files, and viola, it works Thanks for looking into it Jose
