how to check my mail script in php has worked successfully

I have written php script to send mail.There is no error when I run using IIS.What sender address and to address I should give to check my script?And how can I check the mail on receiver side?

It helps to install a mail server on your local machine, just for testing purposes... You can set PHP to send the mail through there...
