Ok... I can format dates out of MySQL tables, and I can insert into date fields using curdate....
But... (and forgive me, this seems too newby-ish, but I have obviously burned up that brain cell on re-entry after New Year's Eve ).....what is the syntax for saving a HTML form field as a properly formatted "date" into a table.... i.e. if user enters 12/31/02, I cannot remember what the Update/Insert syntax for that to appear as 2002-12-31 my table (field formatted as date)..... date()? I tried that and keep getting errors..... Help renew another brain cell please ![]() |

What is the best/most elegant want to manipulate between HTML form field formats and MySQL? I feel like I am brute forcing it.... Tx, |
