imp: How to install GD with PHP 4.3.2

Hello

My site was working on server have (PHP 4.2.2)....
I installed 4images (Album Gallery) .. and it was working good with GD Library 1.6

Then I transferred to a new server have a PHP 4.3.2 (The Last Version).. but as I think the GD program is not installed.. because 4images couldn't resize images automatically any more !
also I didn't find any information about GD Library on php info.. that means the GD is not installed with PHP 4.3.2

SO what should I do?
- All the versions of PHP 4.3.2 doesn't include GD Library, is that right?
- should I request the tech suppurt to download GD from its official site and install it on the server to work with PHP 4.3.2?

As far as I know, all of the latest version of PHP come bundled with GD support. However, if I'm not mistaken, its version 2, and not 1.6.

My suggestion would be to email your hosting company, to see if they can either install or enable GD support on the server.

Unless they give you root access (which I highly doubt), you will not be able to install the extension yourself.

i mean can you gimme simple steps..... like .... first, a link for downloading.. then how to install??

No problem... Here's the link to the GD website. They have a manual which has installation instructions.
