Need to know about php ? is it free language ? is it object orianted ?
hello all ,
i am new in php. well we are going to use php and linux with postgre so make me understand could i am able to make general ledger and inventry control project and point of sale system. how much i need expertise to do this and how i make it easy ? i know all the things about projects i have already made in vb and sqlserver and some of my coleague have done in oracle. i need to know about crystal report how would i make it in php is it supporting any tool or what i have to do ? tell me sincerely . as soon as posible regards Rehan

You should go here and look at the manual
http://www.php.net/docs.php It is more straight forward than VB; but if you are used to vb you may find it easier. I have never found anything I couldn't do with php
