newbie @ php
hi, i just started using php and i am wondering how to create a members area? like those where a user can sign up. i know that it has something to do with mysql ? but not too sure how or what to do.

Cram,
There used to be a "Membership" article posted on this site... It's no longer available, at the request of the original author. What I would suggest is looking into some of the authentication articles... This will definitely get you moving into the area of memberships... Havard's article, PHP, MySQL and Authentication 101, is what you're most likely looking for.
