how can i do .. so when someone push the back button to display a specified page

hmm i think you need to use javascript for this and not php, you need to use the onunload (i think thats it) then tell it when the page is unloaded to goto a url

PHP has a variable called

PHP Code:


		
			
 $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']

which returns "The address of the page (if any) which referred the user agent to the current page. This is set by the user agent. Not all user agents will set this, and some provide the ability to modify HTTP_REFERER as a feature. In short, it cannot really be trusted. " Hence, you could utilize that to achieve the functionality which you desire.
