A few months ago, I remember quickly reading an article here on how to achieve custom tags, used by forum engines such as this (vBulletin).
The B, I, IMG tags, for example. I bookmarked the article, and was supposed to go back and read it fully when I had more time. Then, I had a major HD crash, and, all bookmarks gone (along with other data!!). Can anybody guide me back to that page? I cannot seem to find it anymore. ![]() |

remeber if your going to make your own custom tags, to use the function
htmlspecialchars so that if the user types in any html it will keep the formatting, and not parse the html that they type in. |
