PHP: Imap

Hi!

I've a question about PHP / Imap.

I'm programming a little webmailer for my site.
So far I can connect to the POP3 server, can check how much mails are in there. But how can i check how much are new?
And who can I sign a email to be read?

THX

Ryan, what help do you need? I've written my own client for pop/imap support for a web client and have some experience with it, what issues are you having?

LXS: did you find all of the information you needed? I'm very interested in your progress for your project

Actually I got a problem that is more common:

PHP Code:
 $date $eMailHeader -> date

returns values like
Mon, 24 Nov 2003 16:01:31 +0100

Now I would like to format this string, for example instead of the long version I want date to be shown like:
24.11.2003 16:01.

Got an idea?

thx in advance,
Rayn
