PHP tutorial?

Dose anyone know of a PHP tutorial that shows you how to make a text field that when submitted makes the text appears on the hompage of your site or something similar?

Thanks,
-Calum-

Php

What you are looking for is a Blogging or Guestbook type of thing?
You will need to write to a file or database, and pull the information from there.
Writing to file examples:

PHP blog tutorial:

I'm sure you could Google and find lot's more.

Or are you referring to a chat-script?
There are many shout-boxes available for your use, some with database others with 'flat files'. Downpoint of these scripts is that the browser refreshes the page when submitting, or even refreshes to get new chat/shout lines.

A nice chat-script I've developed in PHP and Javascript does not do this.
Have a look on Friday-evening (19:00 - 24:00 European time) at Club de Loods
