Questions about Upload File Permissions
Hey,
I want to know how I can upload files into the specified upload folder with giving everyone permission to it. I know I have to have 777 permission so it could be written but are there any alternatives? I don't want any of my registered users to be able to modify or see each other's uploaded files and I think its a big security risk. I always thought that the user transfers control of the file to the server so it can handle the rest. Thanks for your help.

I think this one was dealt with fairly recently. Do a forum search on permissions or something similar and you'll probably turn it up.
