update needs a refresh
Hi all,
i have a section that runs an if then statement and updates the database depending on outcome. This is fine however lower down in the page i have a variable that requires the field record that has been updated but the problem is that it takes the old value unless a page refresh is done. I am assuming its due to the time to update the database. Is there anyway around this? thanks in advance EDIT its that html thing again isn't it I keep on forgetting about this. Anywayachieved it by setting a refresh page prior to loading the page mentioned above and in the refresh page i run the if statement. Then use some javascript to refresh instantly. Its a bit messy but its all i could come up with |

Hello,
U Can Do Onething When U Need To Update Anything On Ur Page Open A Popup Window Using Javascript And Write Update Code There. Once Update Complete Give One Link To Close Window And On This Link Call Javascript Function To Reload Parent From Child. So Child Window Will Close And Parent Will Be Reloaded. |
