getting quite tired of these articles, they all say the same thing and really do not accomplish anything. You will notice all books have the same thing too, just to fill up a few pages. Im sure if someone wants to learn PHP they will know what it is before they look into it.

I hear you. I don't think that everything that is submitted should be published, no matter how hungry the site may be for new articles. I don't mean to detract from anyone who wants to contribute new material, but this article was ridiculous. (Sorry.)

Yeah, the article was well written but it wasnt very constructive, people want articles that have some kind of little workshop @ the end were you get to put everything you have learnt into action...

i don't think they should be filtered out but maybe put a line somewhere to designate this is not for rookies or something along that line, so you won't have the people unaware of php or whatever making 50 threads about why the tutorials didn't work and whatnot.

most of the tutorials arent really tutorials, more a chunk of source code which people past and claim it was their script....

where i never seen one person's article on here who claim it was their code.

most have to explain what the code does in order for people to get what the particular script or code does or else alot of us would be lost .

well atleast a good majority of the people just starting out in php.

no but I know a few beginners which have claimed to code their own CMS, when their code (they showed me it) looks exactly like the one on DevArticles
