actually this is not entirely correct, when using
IIS 5 then Interleaved Text Outperforms Response.Write see article: http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/021302-1.shtml did some testings myself with this and got the same result.. although when you set response.buffer to false then Response.Write is slightly faster And the part about bandwidth,this is true but if bandwidth really is a problem then you should look at other things first , image optimation, and removing unneccesary tags , html compression etc also it is sometimes really good for debugging purposes to see the html source well intended and with linebreaks and the part about security, i dont get it, the html source does not show you any vital information... (or at least it shouldnt) |
