CkChin,
We're onto it. Already have one in the works. Ryan Schweibert (one of our excellent new writers) is working on it as I write this. Expect it within a couple of days.

There are many changes, BUT what I am impressed is the GUI is excellent! yes, extremely good, and when I first saw it, I like it and I say to myself, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX is excellent for investment (I mean to learn and master it (master it ??)). It has huge community, and almost 80% of web developers use it.

Do you mean they use Macromedia Dreamweaver? That seems a little bit high. I have all of the previous versions of Dreamweaver and it is a great product. I understand that MX will have php integration

"almost 80% of web developers use it" I did read somewhere and I was not able to remember the exact place, and what I remember is on the "NET"

Have either of you used other versions of Dreamweaver? I am just debating with myself about how long I should keep using Dreamweaver 4.0. I noticed that with my student discount I can get MX studio for only $200.

Main concern is that most of the Ultradev extensions are not tested with MX.

I would like to learn the MX extension making. Any good book?

I did read certain articles about the ultradev/dreamweaver extensions are made using JavaScript and xml, am I correct?

Thanks in advance.

from what I've read, Dreamweaver MX is basically Dreamweaver combined with all the functionality of Homesite/Cold Fusion Studio plus the new MX flash integration, etc.
