Building a WYSIWYG HTML Editor: Can't type inside iFRAME
Following the Building a WYSIWYG HTML Editor tutorial but didn't get past the first example of creating the boldtext.html example file (I copied and pasted the html straight from the article as instructed). The problem: the page displays but I cannot enter text inside the iframe box. I am using IE5.2.3 on Mac OSX10.3.3. Assuming its some sort or browser issue. Does anyone have any ideas why?
Thanks! |

Yes - it could def be a Mac problem. Cos you can't write to the iframe, it sounds like a there's a problem setting the iframe to be editable (designMode) with IE/Mac.

Thanks for the reply.
you said " it sounds like a there's a problem setting the iframe to be editable (designMode) with IE/Mac." Is there something special I need to do in EI5 to put it into "design mode"? thanks! |
