Coldfusion worries...
I've recently had the opportunity to reskin a website for a company. The president of the company's son-in-law wants to help, and he does coldfusion. He has his own server and hosting space as well. I'm not a huge coldfusion fan, but I want to get some other opinions before I say no. Here are some worries...
I know PHP alot better than coldfusion
I don't have access to coldfusion software
If things don't work out, finding other hosting space for coldfusion is limited
Updates and/or changes to the code will become expensive
Basically, I just don't want to get left in the dark. I'm really just looking for someone to really sell me on the idea that coldfusion would work just as well as PHP. Any takers?
