Distributed Applications, BitEvolution & A Question...
Keeping distributed applications up to date is such a hassle. To solve this problem I wrote a client & server application, written entirely in Java, that can be use to keep distributed applications up to date. Its a task based arcitecture modeled after the Apache ANT project .
What I am wondering is what types of tasks would developers like to see? I have a good foundation of tasks like UpdateFile, DeleteFile/Directory, RenameFile/Directory, Un/RegisterCOMComponent, ExecuteApplication, etc. but I am looking for input on additional tasks that people would find useful in the context of an online update tool.
Any thoughts?
Thanks In Advance.
