Question Graphic Design Prices
How much would somebody charge to build the graphical interface like unrealtournament2003.com.au?

What would your hourly rate be?
Would you do it for a set amount, how much?

that's a nice design and therefore you might be expecting to pay more than what you might have in mind.

can't tell you a particular price because everybody tends to set their own price and whatnot.

You would need to put out a request and accept quotes to find out what people will charge you. As asp_man sez, everyone charges differently, usually according to experience/skill level.

Did u actually sell this design, or was it for an in-house project?

If u don't mind me asking (you did, so we can ), how much did/would u charge for it?

This was an in house project, i think we would charge around $800, for design only, what do you think?

the design is nice but $800 for it a bit too much


i mean you can charge what you feel but i have to ask, do you only charge that just for the design of a site, without any work to the content and whatnot?

It depends on wheather the client wants the company to do the content. Usually the designer will create a "look and feel".. a style guide of how everything is supposed to look, including layouts, font colours, etc.

So, no, the designer doesn't write copy (content), but they design how it will look.

people nowadays charge too much..probably bcos they only rely on graphic design to live on.

I wouldnt charge more than £400 for a design, honestly.

oh sorry, i thought you were talking about US dollars...whoops

I would only charge £400 if it was something huge like a digital 3d design and at that price i would make sure the customer is satisfied!
