for a document distribution program...
i need to record where documents are located on different file servers. right now a "file" input box is used to allow the user to choose a file. I want to change the path from "f:\..." to "\\aur1w01\...". Any suggestions on how I can get the user's dirve mappings? Last edited by bash3_cmc : February 28th, 2003 at 03:52 PM. |

grrr... I guess there isn't a way. Well if anybody finds one, send me a message at URL
I suppose I didn't really mention that this is being done in HTML. I'm also using ASP... Excitement. |

i was just going to suggest that you get people upload their files by selecting them from the network neighbourhood, instead of the mapped paths. But that's a dodgy hack
