Smile How to insert/update related tables in one step

This article was very helpful to me. It made everything very clear.
Now I would like to learn how I can update a bunch of related tables in one step, through a web page.
Anyone know where I could find a tutorial on that?
Thanks

i dont really understand your question but this might be helpful:

try using xml to control data displayed in multiple web pages. This can be done with a simple javascript code that retreives the xml document stored somewhere on your website directory. here is a good xml tutorial that i used when iw as starting: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/default.asp

Question Website updating and management

Well as the way i understood "dotcomma's " question, i guess he has the same problem i have..lol Which is,...im in the process of designing my website using front page, and once im done with designing it'll end up with close to 200 pages. But before go tht far,..rite now i have completed close to 70 pages, but i want to make slight adjustments to some of the link bars, but im absolutely stuck up coz i cant figure out a way to change that particular link bar, while at the same time, i want that change to take effect and update rest of the WebPages automatically without having to update them, one by one manually. So is there anyone out there who can give me some helping hand, some advice regarding this issue...?

And i would be really appreciate if someone can tell me how to do this kinda work using FrontPage. And what exactly u call this type of work..? Is it Website management..? Website Authoring..? or Website updating..? Hmmmmmmmm im really confused, pls help

totaly-stella, I don't think that's quite what dotcomma was referring to... it sounds to me as though dotcomma was referring to a database updated as opposed to a web site update... the type of thing you're looking for is content management... perhaps looking into the use of template tools... personally i've found server side programming (such as PHP) helped out a bit, but you may not be ready to reach that step yet...

dotcomma sounds like they're referring to an specific article on this site... its best to post any article related question in their respective threads as every article is given a discussion forum...

totaly-stella RE:

If you want to have link bars updated from a single page you can use the front page option imclude page, and include a single page into all of your other pages. The include page options works like an iframe but i prefer it because of its easiness of use and better graphicquality. To insert and include page simply go Insert->Component->include page. Or for automatic updating of the pages you can use scheduled include page which can include different pages according to the day, time, date etc.
Still this is not the questions that dotcomma had. If you want to know more about using frontpage i suggest you read a book or take tutorials.
