Wow, here's an old thread... a little animosity there planetfall? =P
I thought I remember reading that you can rename .art to .jpg and it'll work just fine... but don't take my word for it. =)

apparently your definition of spam is a very broadly interpreted one, how do you figure my post was spam in any way? i was selling nothing, it was a valid answer to the original post, it answered the question soundly, ie; it works are we supposed to pretend that software programs do not exist and are not downloadable? the original reply mentioned brand name software, and erroneously so... i thoughfully, upon researching the subject myself, posted the direct link to the demo ware, if thats a no-no, then your site doesnt offer much help at all and is a joke the first 'answer' was ignorant and uninformed and DID NOT answer the posters question. mine did, is this the kind of supposed 'help' you gits offer on this site? lets review: the first reply was a comically incorrect solution, but was a fine post, mine offered the correct solution, and yet, somehow failed to meet the fine standards upheld here... ha! what a waste of time and a charade. ![]() |

.art file conversion solved
Quote:
Based on what I read on this site about changing the name to .jpg; tried it and it didn't work; so I downloaded .art photo as a .bmp file format; I also changed the name to .bmp (after the dot) before downloading; I located the image where I downloaded it; I clicked on the image; and it opened up in my default image software PhotoShop but also in Corel Paint Pro; so most programs should open it; now I can save as others like .jpg, etc Last edited by sheppardalbert : October 19th, 2006 at 08:08 PM.
