Looking for a straightforward newsletter script

Hi,
I thought it would be extremely easy to find this, but apparently, not so much.
Please, read till the end before replying...
I am looking for a server side script (perl, php etc) which would simply and ONLY take mails sent to a pop account, send them to every recipient on a text file list and automatically handle subscription, unsubscription and bounces sent to this email address. I could even actually handle the sending part assuming the script could then take a well formatted email file (headers and everything) and broadcast it to the list.
I could probably do this with a faily low amount of php, but it would be amazing to me that nobody had taken on this before... and there are a lot of subtelties and nice options that I probably would not have time to implement...
Anybody has any suggestion for such a piece of code or maybe a program that I could use in such a way?

thanks in advance

That's my problem... I am looking for a fairly limited BUT extremely flexible script...
so far, I've seen hundreds of list serv, but all of them offer way more than I want without actually letting me what I want to do (that is, just parse the recipient list, relay my newsletter from a specific pop account or directly from a file I generate and handle bounces and such)...

I am sure there's such a thing, but after browsing through hundreds of list server, I still haven't found it..

If anybody knows one, please shoot...

cheers

Not a script, but may help...

This isn't a script, but it may help to do what you're after...

ListMaster Pro... It's from Analog X, who makes some incredible apps!

Hi Dave,

Add2it Mailman Pro could do what you described... and probably even more.

Feel free to take a look at the interactive online demo of the admin area at:

Hope this helps,
