Making 2 servers connect to eachother?
If I were to rent 2 servers from a datacenter, one of them having a raid array with alot of hard drives, would it be possible for the other server to read from the raid array? like if i were running a file site and needed server A acting as a web server to redirect users to download the file from server B with the raid array
many thx

Um - do you mean besides using the usual networking file referencing methods? e.g. "\\serverA\files\foo.jpg"

yeah, i think so. i don't think they would be accessiable via \\servera\blah.jpg even though their in the same datacenter

Well - IP address then - it's all the same thing in theory.

Which operating system(s) are they using?
Is it not possible to simply map the driver in the designated operating system? |
