MS Excel Combo Box ListFillRange

Hi All,

I need to know to to link the ListFillRange of a combo box to an external source without having to have the source file open.

According to the help section of Excel, a combo box can be linked to an external source, which I already did. But when I opened the file that contain the combo box, it didnt work like how it should. I have to open the source file to make the combo box workable.

Is there any way to make this happen without having to have the source file open?

Thank you
