Problem with Ethernet Card

Hi,

There is a problem with my Ethernet Intel 10/100 Card. When I connect my broadband chord to the plug and switch on the machine, the card takes time to initialise. As a result, all my applications, files and other peripherals go into the still mode for some time and during that period I am unable to use my machine. After a gap of three minutes, the machine functioning returns to normal. Someone earlier had faced this problem and he had suggested to uprgrade the drivers as well flash the Bios. I have done both, but the problem still persists.

Can someone help me....

pleaseeeeee
