Profile enhancments (how do they work)?

I've seen things in AIM profiles like Buddy4u and stuff like that. How do those programs work?

Can you explain them a little? I've never heard of any of those enhancements... What do they offer?

Ever see those "look at my buddy profile" or somthing similar to that in a AIM profile? it's that kinda of thing. They allow you o make polls, pages, and all sorts of stuff that people can look at through AIM profiles.
