Question about MP vs. overclocking
Great article. My question is whats better? Overclocking a single CPU with VapoChill or just going multiprocessor?
ie. what gives you more bang for your buck in that respect? Thanks, Jeff CS student from TAMU |

jcheak, this is actually a programing forum, not a hardware forum. Please post questions like this in the lizard louge.
as for your question, you cant really compair the two, as the do different things, a very small handful of programs can actually use multi-processors, unless your doing 3d animation or running a hell of a lot of programs its going to be no good. If your running games, and you have 2x 1ghz machines for example, the game can only use one processor, also if you have 2x 1ghz, that doesnt mean your machine is a 2ghz all up |
