Hi guys, I want to create a online ticketing system which allows
our clients to add a support ticket into the system, from their our office or technicians can add comments such as Tech Booked, or the final technician report on the finalisation of the job. However, currently on our server we do not have MySQL but we do have PHP and ASP is there a way to do this or am I simply dreaming. I have seem quite a few (promise everything) on the net, however, they do not work as planned if at all. |

given the nature of the information which will be contained on the job ticketing system, I do not want to have someone else host it, I want to be able to use our server.

This is only possible using a server side language and a database (if you wish to store the jobs, rather than only emailing)

What options do I have, I have just had MySQL enabled on our webserver
this also allows us to have a onlin shopping cart which is in need as well. |

You have a heap of options. You can use ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, JSP. They will all work with most DB's, including MySQL. Choosing a server-side language will depending on your OS and your programming skills.
