Arrrrgggghhh!
Valid XHTML Frames have no specification for "framespacing" or frame "border". Thus, if your page uses frames and validates, all your frames have a gutter between them, regardless of any CSS used!!!! What a crock!I hate invalid (X)HTML, and I hate gutters between frames!!!! ![]() |

Valid XHTML Frames
hi mate,
im in exactly the same boat as u! i haven't suused it yet, but there's got to be a way to do it or at least HIDE it. Microsoft's MSDN and other websites have done it, but then again, Microsoft arent famous for their valid pages either. if i find out i'll post back to let u know! good luck, Clarky, UK Quote:

Frame prob. solved
right, what you do is just make your frameset as norm get rid of the framespacing atrrib., then add the following to your css file or in the HEAD:-
frame {border:0} this is then valid xhtml. speak to u soon and good luck with your site, Clarky |
