Warning about PHPed

im currently programming a admin system for a site that im building. I was using phped yesterday, when half my files i was working on were deleted! i did a scan of my HD and check the recycle bin, nothing!

This happened when i clicked the save all button then pressed Alt+F4.

Im not saying that phped is a bad program, in fact its probally saved me hours of work and stoped heaps of errors. But just be warned, also make sure u back up ur website in a zip or something, so that you dont end up like me, who has to reprogram the whole bloody thing again!

hmmm that sucks. i used phped when i was reviewing it at http://www.devarticles.com/art/1/42 and it seemed fine. i prefer visual interdev coz its plain and simple and im more of a "guru coder" meaning that i memorize everything i use :P

ben, maybe try another php editor? did you buy phped or just download the demo?

Sorry it took so long to reply to this.

I dont actually know what version of PHPed it is, all i know is that its the demo.
Im going to still use PHPed, its a great program, and i dont have to rememeber all the funtions in php(phew ), but just remember that this could happen to you and make sure you backup your work.
