What do you guys use to make your web designs? I always make my design in a 800x600 Photoshop file and then slice it in Fireworks. After that I use it to export it to Dreamweaver with all the tables in place.
It works but it's tough to make the site work. I often get images out of place because I try to make my sites stretch fullscreen by setting some cells with bg images... ![]()

I won't get much support on this, but I use (free) HTML-Kit, which requires knowledge of coding. You have to know what you are doing, but when you do it enough, you become very good at getting the page to look and act exactly as you want, and not a close proximity. In addition, I can write templates for HTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, etc. just the way I want them.
HTML-Kit can be downloaded from www.chami.com. |

i use photoshop, and usually 780x500, just depends what i need,
when i make a site stretch the full size of the window, i let it align to the left or right that way it saves a lot of time, plus sites that fully stretch accross the screen, in many cases, look un professional |

Hmm, after a bit of experimentation, I believe slicing in Fireworks is the best. I have the most problems when actually editing the html to make the design work.
