I agree with Lindset...

They're using a custom-made CMS that they've created themselves.

devArticles uses SiteWorksPro... I'm currently working on a site for a client... I introduced him to the software (demo), and he was instantly hooked!

There are some free CMS systems available (PHP-Nuke comes to mind). Be careful, as some may not work as you would like. Don't get me wrong, they're great systems, but look for one that is customizable to your needs (templates, plugins, etc...). It's all a matter of personal preference.

Exactly, i've started hating phpnuke now.

i found another one named "ez publish" .believe me the install documentation is 5 miles long(after extracting the whole files come upto 14 MB- now when am i going to upload all these ) and you have to be a veteran to install that cms.

Gosh..i am still attempting to install it(7th attempt) May God Help Me Succeed this time

hehehe!

Are you looking for a PHP-based CMS system? Have you thought about making your own, or do you need something ASAP?

The CMS devArticles uses was orignally designed for this site. Then mytch decided to make it customizable, thus making it SiteWorksPro for people to buy.

It is almost like we need a "code" icon or something with the WYSIWYG editor that allows for the code to use a different background/foreground, different font, etc.

I like how www.devshed.com formats their code within the article.

a word on php-nuke if your going to use it. PHP is a really good CMS and yes its free, but it does have a few down sides. Apart from the easy install, when i tryed it, the program is so big its really hard for a new user to get the grasp of it. it also lacks good documentation, and apart from the forum they have(i think) if you get stuck, it can be hard trying to get the write advice. If i were you id try it, see if you like it.

Thanks
Ben Rowe

another downside to *nuke is that most of the time you can spot right away that it's a *nuke cms.. unless there have been some heaavy modding going on
