Question Wysiwyg Html Editor 1

in article 90, when we hit the ENTER key, the editor write a paragraph in the iframe.

is there a way to tell the editor to write only a new line (<BR>) instead?

I would appreciate that someone could answer me.

Thanks in advance

Hi,
You could try capturing it with the onKeyDown event, maybe like this:

<iframe onKeyDown="grabIt"></iframe>

<script language="JavaScript">

function grabIt()
{

}

</script>

im not sure how you'd do it, but i think something like that might work.

Question

I didn't knew that about SHIFT+ENTER.

I can't execute any script while the iframe has designMode='On',
so the events won't fire up.

Thanks, it's worth trying.

I am still looking for something to invert this stupid behaviour.
When i find it, i'll let you know.

what i want to know is how to remove the stupid <p> tags!

if it puts in a <p> tag before the text, if your display page looks like this

date - info from editor here blah blah blah

that looks fine, but with <p> tags, it ruins the look of it
like this

date -
info from editor here blah blah blah

u see what i mean?

any ideas guys?
