XML for newbie

hello everyone.
i've been using devarticles asp tutorials to learn, but i think im at the point where i want to learn xml. where did everyone start? reading a book? there's heaps to learn like xml, xsl, xslt, xpath, xquery, soap, etc right? i just need a starting point...any opinions will be great.

Hi Sprokko,
I started with Professional XML and decided to just jump right in. You can read about it here: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/A...varticlesco-20. Alot of our authors have read XML books themselves, and you can see what they've read to learn XML at our book store: http://www.devarticles.com/books.php.

Maybe start at www.xml101.com just to get the basics out of the way and then grab either beginning xml or prof xml by wrox press. wrox's books are great and they're all i read now-days.

devarticles have a nice intro article. i think its under the soap section.

Talking For XML

Hi ,
XML is great once u get a hang of it if u want to get more detailed information about XML u can also get it from Wrox.com they have tonns of information on xml also mail me if u want more inforamtion related to xml i will send u some pdf files which helped me to learn
