Major quake of 6.2 rocks bird island off Japan (AFP)
AFP - A powerful earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted the Pacific Ocean east of Japan near an uninhabited volcanic island home to endangered birds, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
