Final Fantasy XII Preview, SEO HELP!

hi everyone, for my game site i recently did some coverage on Final Fantasy XII set to be released late 2004. Hoping that this would bring my site some extra traffic. I have tried every SEO technique i know - Keywords in title, headers, ALT tabs etc. But im not even in the top 1000 rankings on google... at least not yet. anyone think of any SEO techniques i havent used and should put in? plus tell me what you think

A couple thoughts on your layout... why is everything center'ed? the network string on the bottom of the page exceeds the [invisible] boundries of the rest of the page. Your start page has the same things listed for Reviews, Previews, and Articles.

As for SEO... what is it you're expecting to find on google? a link to your ffxii review? or a link to your homepage?

is your page a review, or the script to a movie treatment?

finally, in an unrelated note, i like perl =)

for SEO. im just looking for when people search for FFXII media, my site would come up somewhere.. e.g Final Fantasy XII Images or something....

although it has improved much since then

when people search for my wallpapers most of them are at least in top 50

one of them is 3rd

so im pretty chuffed anyway

i dont like perl well its just i borrowed a book on it and it seemed really confusing, much more than most of the other programming languages i know. but it might have been the book i don't know. you know any good tutorials???
