It looks real nice... I like the layout, very clean!
One suggestion is to darken the font for your content. Although it doesn't look too bad, it does look somewhat washed out. If you darken it to use "#767676" it may work a little better. Otherwise go completely black. I agree with Lindset about adding some more color to spice it up. You don't need to add a new color, but make use of the blue you're using in your logo. Btw, who made the ascii art? Brings me back to the old days... I used to design as well! hehehe!

Hmm, yeah I think I should darken the font a little. As for the ascii art, some friends on IRC copy and pasted them for me

What shade are you using? It looks nice, but again, it's a little hard on the eyes as it looks washed out. What if you tried a pure black "#000000"? Just to see how it looks... If it's too much of a contrast, you can always go back.
Another thing I noticed is that the horizontal bar underneath your logo gets cut off at the end of "The online world of Jared Kim", and it appears next to the name "Packetloss". I'm not sure if it's just on my side (IE 6 @ 1024x768). Another suggestion, add a little more top-padding to your news body (the contents of the "Welcome to my world" section). Everything looks too bunched up. |

I'll try black text.
What do you mean about the line getting cut off? Could you post a screenshot? I run IE in 1024x768 and it looks fine. No problems in Opera either for me. Yeah, the text looks a little bunched up, I'll try more padding. |

Really odd
. It doesn't show up like that on my browser. Let me try looking at the HTML again... |

Frankie,
Try now, I think I removed an unnecessary row in the table. Please post another screenshot if it doesn't look right. Thanks. ![]() |

All looks good now!
I even like the border you put around the news item! Looks really nice! |

that is a sweet design, but MY GOD, do you need so many nested tables? (33 tables total) You can do without the outter most one at least - that will just cause your page to delay display until the entire thing is downloaded.

Hehe, I manually save all of my "slices".. then I manually add them to the html document.. I like doing stuff manual.. Makes me feel like I'm in control (hah, like that's ever going to happen).. that's why I don't use WYSIWYG editors..
