Check out this completely flash based website that my brother and I made for one of our favorite bands. It's their official site and.... we made it, so you got to check it out and tell us what you think.

We've just recently spruced up the sight with the addition of an internal streaming mp3 player that loads with the main page. We'd appreciate hearing how this player works with different connections, so please tell us what you think of the player and the rest the site.

Seems nifty to me. The sound works fine on my Mozilla on Mandrake.

Nice work. The player works well (win2K, IE6, cable connection), and the site has a nice simple hav system.

I agree with Stumpy... The navigation is simple and effective!

Also, me likes the color scheme!

Very nice looking site - clean & simple, but effective

Couple of minor points/thoughts:

1. How about adding the length (in secs or mins) of the clips?

2. Noticed that one of the band members is called "Currently Unavailable" If possible, eliminate that one until you've got a band member for that position. It's like those "Under Construction" pages - don't put them up.

3. The forum loaded in a separate window - is it possible to have it load in the same window?

4. It took me a bit to realize that "Interact" included contact info. The word made me think that it was a link to a forum. Maybe that's just me, but you might want to make this a bit more obvious (i.e., by calling it Contacts) - to make it as easily as possible for A&R reps to contact the band, order a demo package/press kit, etc? Steve Klug's #1 rule - Don't make them think (or be required to click around, etc for that info)! It's very important that they be able to find that info as quickly as possible.

5. I was really glad to see that you included a quote on the home page about the band - but what about creating a section (as the content arrives) about what the press has had to say about the band? Or did I miss that, is that somewhere else?

And what if the bass player´s name is actually "Currently Unavailable"

That would be a cool name for a musican.

(It made me remember a dog I had a few years ago... his name was "Cat", and that created a lot of confusions, he he!)

Seriously, the site looks very good for me. The only things I would change are the top buttons to make them more consistent with the overall design (curvy)...

Good Works you guys!
