Smile http://www.turbovb.com - Review & Advice needed

http://www.turbovb.com is the web site for TurboVB.

This is the only website I've ever done so would really appreciate any advice and guidance people can give.

One particular problem I have at the moment is that Netscape doesn't recognize my stylesheet, but the code linking to it is standard and works with IE. Any ideas?

Thanks
Nigel Thomas

i like it! good for a first attempt! (its much better than my first attempt thats for sure!)

I think the drop down menus need to be a different colour... there's too much "lilac" (or what ever colour its meant to be!)

aside from that its good! Nice and direct, straight to the point etc.

Fakker,

Thanks for that, I may try a light blue or something.

is it just me or are the menus sort of rolling out?
perhaps my computer's lagging, but it looks cool from here =)

This is a great design for your first... I think given the nature of the site it suits it. Most add-on/component sites are similar to this layout (simple and sleak)... not bad at all...

Is there a reason the links on the bottom don't show in the status bar?

Well Spotted! Its because the 'links' are just text and I'm using onclick and stuff to get them to be links. This caused a big problem with Netscape.

I've almost cracked the Netscape problems and will be updating the site shortly :-)

Glad you liked it!

Thanks

Fast loading & clean, fits the content of the site. It sorta reminds me of Microsoft's site though ;p

I can't see any drop down menus. Where are they supposed to be? I'm using Mozilla.

Great job for your first site! My first site would've made people blind. Keep up the good work.
