Erm - I don't wanna be rude - but this site needs A LOT of work in the design department - looks like something from 1996. People have come to expect a lot more from their websites today - i.e. a professional design.

Is there a reason for using images in the nav - this is bad for several reasons - longer download, bad SEO - CSS can do all the hover stuff for you. There also seems to be a lot of inline-CSS - put it in the separate CSS file! It'll make the page download & render faster.

I have to dis-agree witht he 1996 bit... But without comments like these I can not improve the site or my design skills. Anymore feedback would be appreciated

If you need some design ideas, there's quite a few sites around that you can get inspiration from - some really good ones are:

Well, I'm afraid I don't really like it all that much. At the top, you've got two logos repeated (one at the left and one at the right) - this looks a bit strange. You've then got that red arrow thing again in the centre behind the text. It's a bit much I think. The main text in the central logo is one a white background, but the top header is not white - so you've got a strange white box. Also, the font doesn't look good, and neither does the shadow.

There is too many different fonts in the site. You really want to minimise your use of different styles - you've got 5 different colours, different fonts, italics, bold etc. Reduce this number and keep the text more the same.

In the recent news section, everything is bold - perhaps you should just have the Recent News and Upcoming Events in bold. Also, around everything, you've got a red border - this doesn't look good, especially around the green and blue background of the news and logon sections. Those solid green and blue areas also look too dark, heavy and a bit boring I think.

The central image also needs a bit of work. The images aren't clear and the way in which they move from one picture to another isn't clear enough - it looks a bit messy. You've also repeated the main logo in the centre and I don't think it really fits there, especially since it's got a white border around it.

Hope some of those pointers help.
